Whilst editing entires, when you double click an image asset it shows the file name and title etc., but there is no way to preview the image from here.
Even in the assets window you have to tick the asset then go to the top pull down menu to view it (and if multiple are selected you can't view them all)
A lightbox preview would be most welcome.... a basic editor too but that's another thing :)
I totally agree with this. I want to View the original Asset from anywhere - an entry, the Assets Module itself.
In addition, I'd love to see Asset dimensions in various places, too. How do you know how big an uploaded Asset is? You have to go to Assets in the CP, click the asset, then go up to the gear and View the asset. Couldn't there be some way to see "150x150" when you double click an asset?
Bob's plugin is great, but actually being able to view what assets one has uploaded..should really be a core functionality.
When will this become reality takobell?
This will be a thing starting with Craft 3 RC7 馃帀

Is a step in the right direction but the focus point must be directly settable in the preview :)
