Description

I initialised a new project called "example" inside of the sailor folder. The run instructions show the following path:

cd /Users/patrickkempff/Development/projects/sailor && react-native run-ios

instead of

cd /Users/patrickkempff/Development/projects/sailor/example && react-native run-ios

same goes for the android path. See the screenshot below

Reproducible Demo

run npx react-native example and see that the "example" dir is missing from the run instructions.

Yea, looks like we pass wrong directory to the printRunInstructions:
https://github.com/react-native-community/cli/blob/212587fa2a8e2cfb9cfce07ef042cbb411671004/packages/cli/src/commands/init/init.js#L212-L221
We likely need to join rootFolder with directoryName, at least that would be my guess.

Anybody willing to fix it? :)
