Chocolateygui: GUI misses update that shows in CLI

Created on 18 Apr 2018  ·  6Comments  ·  Source: chocolatey/ChocolateyGUI

To reproduce:

  1. In PowerShell, run choco outdated or cup foxitreader -whatif. Note that there's an update available: foxitreader|9.0.1.1050|9.0.1.1052|false. Full output here.
  2. In ChocolateyGui, find “Foxit Reader.”

Expected:

  1. Version=9.0.1.1050, Latest Version=9.0.1.1052.
  2. Upgrade or Update All installs new version.

Actual:

  1. Version=9.0.1.1050, no Latest Version listed.
  2. Upgrade option not available.

Notes:

When refreshing chocolatey.org packages in the GUI, the console output briefly shows:

Fetching packages...
foxitreader|9.0.1.1050|9.0.1.1052|false

Context:

Chocolatey GUI 0.16.0
Chocolatey 0.10.10
Powershell 5.1.16299.251
Win 10 Enterprise 1709 build 16299.309
