Charts: what's the difference between rabbitmq and rabbitmq-ha charts?

@matejhasul @miguelaeh I am confused about the difference between rabbitmq and rabbitmq-ha charts.
Does it means that rabbitmq chart does not support high-availability?

The question is still not answered. I, as a starting user am very confused, and it is worth documenting the reason for having 2 different charts doing the same thing.

I'm not much familiar with rabbitmq chart but at first glance there is support for HA. This chart is based on bitnami images unlike rabbitmq-ha. There are many differences for sure. I've seen PR or issue for merging these charts together but cannot find it right now :(

Hi @duyanghao ,
I am not familiar with the RabbitMQ-HA Helm Chart, but as I can read on the docs the HA for RabbitMQ is support mirroring between queues, so you only need more than one Pod that is supported by the RabbitMQ Chart.
As @matejhasul commented there are a lot of differences, but the main difference is that the RabbitMQ uses bitnami images.
But , in short, I think the RabbitMQ can be configured for HA too.
I would like to know what is the clustering method using in the RabbitMQ-HA Chart, do you know it @matejhasul ?

@migmartri @matejhasul It questioned whether it's possible to merge these two charts into one.

I think before merge the two charts it should be evaluated the bets points of each one to combine them into a single one.
I don't know if there is a major reason why there are two RabbitMQ charts, I should be good to review older discussions about this.

Can any one give us a straightforward answer about this?

Very confusing. Trying to understand differences and prons/cons myself now...

even I am trying to understand the difference between these 2 charts and to add to the confusion there is one more chart on the bitnami github repo and am confused on which of these 3 has to be used to setup both HA and non HA environments
