Chart.js: Hide empty bars in grouped bar charts

I want to know if I can hide the empty bars from each group in a grouped bar chart.

Currently, in case there's an empty bar in a group, that space is shown empty. Can I reduce the spacing to be only as much as required by the remaining bars in that group?

I don't think that's currently possible. @potatopeelings know's the most about grouped stacked bars though.
