Describe the bug

this meta Issue will contain a list of UI windows witch need cursor fixes similar to PR #39588
this fixes greatly improves accessibility for VI players.

list

sorted from the most important in terms of convenience and impact on gameplay.

  • [ ] V menu
  • [ ] g menu
  • [ ] inventory
  • [ ] action menu (enter)
  • [ ] item activation menu (a)
  • [ ] reading menu
  • [x] construction menu #39588
  • [ ] armor layers menu
  • [ ] main menu
  • [ ] character creation menu
  • [ ] esc menu
  • [ ] settings menu

the list is not complete. I will amend during testing.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. open any interface window or dialog
  2. look where the system cursor is

Expected behavior

cursor needs to be at current highlighted item as described at accessibility document

Versions and configuration

  • OS: any linux
  • Graphics version: terminal

for anyone watching this issue, i'm not in any way suggesting this isn't important by shuffling it around in projects, but it unfortunately isn't realistic for us to try to target this in 0.F right now, considering the unfortunate nature of our rendering internals.

this will get addressed, but it has to be a long term thing as we slowly restructure how we handle display in various parts of the game.
