I see a lot of players (myself included) doing that trick with Advanced Inventory that we all know: A pile of stuff that you want to move under yourself (or a tile away), open the adv.inv, move-all comand, move yourself a couple of tiles, repeat.
It's obviously a mechanic that we could facilitate, applying the same penalties of adv.inv for moving things this way.
All too frequently I see myself wanting to "clean" a small area, little piles of killed zombies, piles of stuff, etc.
Would be great to just walk over the pile, press a shortcut, then start to walking, moving all the things under yourself automatically, moving penalties applied.
If we're making a new action, let's just capture the whole thing at once.
Game takes control and has the player grab items and move them to the destination, this can either be by moving all items one square at a time, or by having the player grab one or a few items at a time to carry.
There should probably be multiple ways to select items, whether it be search criteria, individual selection, or using the all items list.
Another thing for the destination, what if you wanted medication on this tile and clothing on the other tile, this may just be best done by moving both sets of items individually, but perhaps it could become more complicated if you could designate these types of areas for putting only specific items.
