Interesting, so it doesn't work in my test in Win 8.1 or an older version of Win 10, but it does the latest. Have updated the support with a note to reflect this. Thanks!

+1, but I think #1254 is the better issue for this, as rel="noreferrer" is correct, not ref="noreferrer".

Are you sure IE11 doesn't support this? To me it looks like it's perfectly not sending the referrer on such links.

Tested with IE11 version 11.953.14393.0, can confirm that it looks like it's working fine

I still have the Anniversary Update (Windows 10.1607) and it works there. I don't have any older versions to test.
