C3: Support for Range Charts

Is there any way to have Range bar/column charts implemented? Or maybe this should be a plug-in? Some examples from other libraries:

http://canvasjs.com/javascript-range-column-range-bar-chart/

This is a similar request to #1165 for area ranges. Possibly related to the Candlestick request as well in #121.
