Superb service, waiting for it to come onto brave, has anyone tried asking Authy dev team to contact and cooperate with the Brave dev team

Hi @jonathansampson I almost created a separate issue titled 'Would installing Authy be too impractical right now?' - this is also in relation to Uphold and figured it may be better to include it here rather than creating a separate labeled issue.

Please don't consider this to be rude because it is a genuine question, did the team develop Brave with the notion that everyone installing Brave would effectively own a modern smartphone?

I ask this because personally, I think if you take precaution or simply don't use technology as avidly it doesn't seem necessary to utilize solutions such as 2-step veri. / 2-factors because not everyone utilizes the internet like most engineers and developers do, in addition, not ever user will have an abundance of crypto currency stored always.

That being said, it seems like for Brave considering you're a partner with Uphold, Authy is practically a prerequisite but I wasn't aware of this and it suddenly became an issue because you really can't move past the final step unless you have Authy installed somewhere.

So would forking Authy for one of the next release and making it the tenth and final extension for the soon to be deprecated Brave-Laptop/Moun be too impractical?

Update: One other thing @jonathansampson I don't know if you're aware but Authy for some reason or the other created another updated version of the same product rather than just updating the extension in the link you've provided, unfortunately a number of people seem to still be installing the older version in Chrome and reviewing it with issues, here's the new one in the Webstore - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/authy/gaedmjdfmmahhbjefcbgaolhhanlaolb?hl=en
