It shouldn't say that "Linuxbrew does not currently support 32-bit x86 platforms", because it actually does. Maybe not every distro, maybe not fully. But as you can see, it supports my 32-bit x86 platform so it supports at least one.
How the feature would be relevant to at least 90% of Linuxbrew users? It probably isn't even relevant to 10% of Linuxbrew users, but maybe relevant to 100% not-yet-Linuxbrew-users which are working on a 32-bit x86 platform.
What alternatives to the feature have I considered: None.
I'm glad to hear that Linuxbrew is working for you on your 32-bit Intel system, Nano. We don't build precompiled binary bottles for 32-bit Intel, and we don't test on 32-bit Intel systems, so it's not guaranteed to work flawlessly, but if it works for you, great. I'll update the README to that effect after the release of Linuxbrew 1.5.0 in a couple of weeks.
