Accidentally I deleted %LOCALAPPDATA%\BraveSoftware folder, so restarted Brave and reconfigured it as usual recreating that folder. Now there is at least a site where the Brave shields are less functional, there are only 12 blocks and the site appears so:

I see this both with 1.13.82 and with current 1.13.86 version of Brave. Notice that the original BraveSoftware folder was created when I installed Brave 1.11.101.
I have another system with Brave updated to current 1.13.86 but on which I still have the BraveSoftware folder created with 1.11.101! so I just copied it completely on the "broken" system and the site appears as it should be, with 29 shields:

Any idea about what happened?
Thanks
i'm guessing this is because brave didn't redownload the resources that are needed for adblock / tracking protection after you deleted the folder. IIRC it downloads on first run and then periodically checks for updates. so eventually it probably would have gotten those files.
I have reinstalled from scratch cleaning registry etc. Same result. I have to use the profile folder from the other PC installation to see that page without publicity.
@ryanbr I just tried loading https://www.orizzontescuola.it/ and got quite a few ads, blocked 15 resources and @angelog0 is reporting that we were blocking ads more efficiently on this website. Any ideas?
I don't think this is a profile or moving profiles issue.
As @rebron mentioned above, this definitely seems like a adblock issue rather than a profile one. I went through all our channels and the same page is being loaded with the ads on the side.

@angelog0 The differences between them could be related to what list is enabled in brave://adblock . If you enable Easylist Italy, it should show more blocked items in Shields

I've checked all 3 browsers, Release, Beta and Nightly. Installed Easylist Italy from brave://adblock
@angelog0 All 3 browsers seem to blocking the ads, can you confirm?
I see that Easylist Italy is already enabled in recent Brave versions and that the ads are blocked. Thanks.
Great to see, everything now working? Safe to close this ticket @angelog0 ?
Yes, I will close... done!
