Brackets: Only One Feature Needed

Why you say:' Suggest a feature'?
When you then only offer issue reports?
Must have something to do why Brackets is crap.
I spent days online to find solutions. had Brackets uninstalled and reinstalled three times and after a few days, back to the same issue again?

What Issue?
Go, read your issue reports.

For me, Brackets rests now in my bottom drawer and the key to it I dumped into the river. Not spending my life on this thing.

OS X 10.11.6
Brackets latest version
Had it installed 3 times. Every time it started with not recognising the
index.html file and no live or developing preview was possible. After
reinstall it worked for a week or so, then again. I can't even remember
what I tried to do, I spent days on it. really tired of Brackets.

Hi @renegaders

Have you enabled " Enable Experimental Live Preview" in the file tag ?, see if this helps, are you using the keyboard combination to enable live preview ( Ctrl + Alt + P ) and click on the orange lighting bolt to open live preview in chrome ?.

Create a dummy index.html file in your development file with a few simple lines of code and double click on this file, this should solve your issue ?.

All done, didn't do anything.
As I said, I tried dozens of possibilities. I spent my life on the net
trying to find new ideas on how to resolve, but to no avail, and to be
honest, I'm really tired of Brackets. It's a pity, because I really liked
working in it (as long as it worked).

Can't do that anymore. I uninstalled Brackets already (for the third time)
This time I use the terminal for secure erase all files and it takes hours.

What I did notice, however, was that Brackets somehow messed with the
browser, too. For example; no matter what I did, I couldn't clear my
browser cache anymore. Never happened before. Lucky I am on a Mac and it's
easy to fix that using the terminal. But it shouldn't be.

Just follow my instructions and try one last time, when I first used brackets I also had issues, I kept a level head and stayed cool, I solved each issue one by one and came right in the end.

Well, I appreciate your efforts.
I need to wait until the uninstall process has finished (gosh running for
hours now) and then I will download Brackets, a fourth time and give it
another go.

You deserve a medal from the dev team over and Brackets for that.

It will take some time, though and it's almost 2 am here. SO I do that
tomorrow and be in touch.

This thing is worse than a woman, changing minds and mood like mad.
Now this time it broke it's own record; 3 days only
So, what you suggest, going through a 5 hours uninstall process of Brackets
and then reinstall it, every second day?

Thanks for you efforts but, to save Brackets' reputation but it's nothing
to do with you. it's the useless development team which couldn't solve that
issue now since Years.

I am sorry that brackets did not work out as planned, must be buggy code in brackets, I am taking a look at the brackets source code for answers, there is no where to look but the source code.
