Borg: create a nice logo / icon / favicon / ...

As you can see, the current "logo" is just the word "Borg" written in some specific font.
Maybe someone with artistic skills can do better than that. :-)

Maybe a variation with a sort of lock to remind of the encryption? or even the file shapes themselves as lock shapes or something?

TBH I don't see any relation between the "logo concept" and the actual logo. There are "duplicate files", which aren't visually duplicate at all. The "encrypted" file has still the same shape (when thinking technically about this, it's horrible). Without a "concept" this wouldn't matter at all.

When looking on it without comparing it to the concept, I see the face of a rabbit with its teeth. Others who might not see faces in things, might want to match both shapes together and have a hard time doing it.

This concepts wants achieve something, which is unnecessary. There is too much info, which you want to mediate in the logo. Take the "Deutsche Bank" logo. It's just a simple line and a frame. Excellence by simplicity.

I appreciate your work (and I couldn't do it any better, I have no graphical design skills at all), but I also rather see a strange face than anything borg or backup.
