Bootstrap-select: Feature request - multiple columns based on optgroup labels

Would be nice if it could use the labels in the optgroups to show multiple independently scrollable columns for the different types.

I guess you could use multiple selects, but still...

Can you elaborate a bit on the feature on its proposed functionality? Perhaps provide a screenshot or example of how you think this should look? Is this requesting the same as #459? Something like this: http://preev.com/?

I saw that issue (and just looked at preev.com). I don't think it's the same.

Basically, instead of just going vertically you'd also go horizontally with new columns for each distinct optgroup label. That way you'd see the possible "categories" by scrolling horizontally rather than having to go possibly way down vertically to see them in the big list of stuff.

I don't think it would be too difficult to implement, but I'd have to see how many people are interested in it.

I know this has not been implemented yet but is there any quick workaround to have this done with current version (v1.13.10)
