Did you try the "enableCaseInsensitiveFiltering" option?

For what it's worth, the documentation doesn't mention this as an option. The only reference to it is a misspelled version of it that happens to be in the code for the multiple configurations example. It would probably be worthwhile to add it to the list of options.
