Current UI is horrible. Start page is "Edit storage", in previous BoostNote it was last note, and it was cool. In topbar I can't see where is Preferences, I know what you have shortcut Ctrl + ,, but not everyone know about this. I can't export my note in pdf, how it was in previous BoostNote, and can't switch font in preview window, can't switch editor window theme (right now, I'm talking not about the editor, where we write code, I'm talking about editor at all)
Could you describe more about the first feedback? I know having responsive design is good idea. But I wanna know how we should introduce it.
And the second and the third ones are already reported. Check #243 and #337. I'll fix this in this week!
BoostNote should open last file on autostart, make option for change old/new theme (BoostNote old and new BoostNote theme), where is snippets? Can I use my own themes, by writing them into form
{
background color: #efefef,
foreground color: #fefefe //for example
}
The default page opened by the app is a known problem, but no GitHub issue for it exists yet. We'll use this one for that.
Snippets are currently not supported in the new app. This is addressed in #339
If you are unhappy with BoostNote.next in its current state then feel free to switch back to the old Boostnote (https://github.com/BoostIO/boost-releases/releases/tag/v0.15.1). Both versions are maintained and updated. We hope that at some point BoostNote.next have enough features, for everybody to happily make the switch.
@Flexo013 @Username77177 I'm going to fix this again in v0.4.0. I'll let you know when new specs are ready.
