Bookshelf: Compatible with CockroachDB?

I'm considering using Ghost (blog) project but am trying to determine if its ORM (Bookshelf) supports CockroachDB.

Never heard of it, but the database support in Bookshelf comes from Knex, so you may want to go to their issue tracker and ask there instead.
