Azure-functions-vs-build-sdk: Add this repo to NuGet "Project Site", and consistant Release Notes

Created on 12 Jun 2017  路  10Comments  路  Source: Azure/azure-functions-vs-build-sdk

When a new version of a NuGet package is published and there's no release notes on the package's NuGet page, the first place I usually look is the "Project Site" link on the package's NuGet page.

I know this is still in alpha, but it would be hugely helpful if we could:

  1. Add this GitHub repo as the NuGet package's "Project Site"
  2. Start tagging releases w/ some high-level release notes

@ahmelsayed So, you closed this issue. #280 & #190 were also closed. What does this mean? MS refuses to create a change log for this project? Or?

Great idea! @ahmelsayed Could you follow up?

@lindydonna @ahmelsayed Any update on this? I just installed version 1.0.19 while according to the Releases page 1.0.14 is the latest version?

@soninaren I noticed you changed the version to 1.0.19 (and even 1.0.20 already). Can't you create a new release including release notes?

@soninaren - Is there an action item here?

@soninaren do we need anything here?

I just updated to stable version 1.0.27 and noticed there are still no release notes at all.
Even worse, this release is not even listed as a Release.

@ColbyTresness @soninaren @jeffhollan Why can't there be any release notes?

@ahmelsayed thoughts?

Follow up with Naren.
