@eshy thanks for calling this out, can you please provide additional details on why you believe the content is out-of-date and / or incorrect.
The instructions to turn the spending limit on, once you get to the azure subscription in billing + cost management are:
- In the Subscription overview, click the banner at the top of the page to turn the spending limit back on.
There is no banner, or any mention of a spending limit on that page, I couldn't find anything anywhere else in that section. So, it's not clear how you can turn on spending limit
@eshy I've verified with the Billing engineering team that the article is accurate as written. It looks like you might not have a Visual Studio Enterprise subscription and you're trying to turn on a spending limit on a subscription that doesn't support spending limits. If further investigation is needed, please open a support ticket in the Azure portal.
