@danielbjork Thanks for the feedback ! I have assigned this issue to content author to investigate and update the document as appropriate.

@hpsin, can you take a look at this one? Thanks.

Thanks @danielbjork - can you point me to the app you're using to sign in? This is the visual studio application?

@hpsin its Visual Studio when trying to Add an account to connect to Azure DevOps but i also cant login to portal.azure.com, visualstudio.com or office365.com.

The account im using is an outlook.com / live.se account and im still able to login to outlook.com with the accout but no other services.

Hope that helps you. :)

Thanks, it does - I've reached out to some internal partners for more details. Can you share what happens at portal.azure.com and office365.com?

portal.azure.com - "Sign-in failed" no real error message
office365.com - No error message, just redirected back to put in my email address.
visualstudio.com - No error message, just redirected back to put in my email address.

If you setup a new Microsoft account, using eg a Gmail address, does this still occur? I believe this may be an issue with your Microsoft account, but would like to validate more.

Fun fact, i created a new outlook.com account and its the same behavior when trying to login to visualstudio.com so i guess its something on my side thats causing the problem.

It would appear so - not so fun :( See if you have any proxies or special firewall rules in place perhaps?

No proxy nor firewall.

We'll need to do additional debugging. Does this occur when you use e.g. a mobile phone browser on 4G?

Issue was due to some re-writing of network requests, connecting with VPN or rebooting all my network devices helped and the issue is gone.

Thanks for the update Daniel. #please-close
