As we can see in the documentation,
Azure search-limits-quotas-capacity
The Basic level can allow 100 simple fields but we tried with 900+ fields with it, and the index is successfully created with 900+ fields in Azure. So, can someone confirm the max limit for fields in the Basic subscription level?
Also, we can see JSON request to push documents to azure have limit in terms of 32000 documents in a single request. But we can't get max size limit with it. If we go with 1000 fields in push request, then Azure has any limitation in terms of JSON request size?

@jishansiddique Thanks for your comment. We are actively investigating and will get back to you shortly.
@jishansiddique, Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Some Basic services are provisioned on newer hardware. Your service is probably one of those. However, other Basic services are still on older clusters. For this reason, we will keep the documented limits as-is until we can lift the restriction for all customers.
Regarding batch size, several customers have also noticed the additional capacity, but the product group does not want to change the documented limits at this time. They are not sure the 32K batch size will be supported moving forward.
Jishan, We will close this out, but if you feel you need more information please just let us know. Thanks again for your feedback.
@AjayKumar-MSFT , Thanks for your reply.
Is this limit of 1000 fields in case of Basic subscription support on newer hardware can lift down to 100 fields in the future or not? Please confirm.

@jishansiddique, Apologies for the delay! I have been checking on this internally and will respond back shortly.
@AjayKumar-MSFT, thanks for replying.
@jishansiddique, There is no ETA on when limits will be lifted everywhere, so the current documented limit is what you should assume, especially on a production service.
Typically, when there is any update in the product, we will make it a point to quickly refresh/update the associated document to reflect the up-to-date information. This is a great question. Thanks again for taking time to share your valuable feedback. We're always very happy to assist you.
