Azure-docs: Usage Attribution isn't shown in any of my partners.

Created on 21 Jan 2020  Â·  10Comments  Â·  Source: MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs

Current customer usage attribution is not being displayed in any of my current partners. That might be caused by some consumption threshold that is undocumented. While include this in the documentation could save us additional efforts, I think is even more important update the reports to show every amount even when lower than <$100. That will bring us early confirmation about everything has been set up properly instead of having an experience where is difficult to validate if the tracking has been deployed properly in the customer subscription.

Even we are facing the same issue. After deployment using terraform, usage attribution is not shown in the partner portal

Hi here's the answer to your question: we don’t show reporting today to partners in PC that comes from tagged resources. Hope this helps!

Maybe I misunderstand but how do we have to report then? I added the resource in the ARM. The ps script show it seems ok but I can't see anything in the report.

Hi @qianw211
Partner Center has a report to Show that, and it was documented. Please don't close.
If not what is the sense to add tracking to the templates if partners can't track?
Tracking for whom?

Please see this

The expected behavior for partners is to show their influenced consumption in their dashboards.

Only Microsoft employees can manage issues via commenting in this repo.

The data for that report comes from One Commercial Partner (OCP). I would suggest reaching out to [email protected] for assistance. If your concern is that Customer Usage Attribution is not working correctly, you can log a support ticket with Marketplace Publisher Support (http://aka.ms/marketplacepublishersupport).

Thank you Cameron for providing the two support paths. Closing this issue.
