I have a single instance VM which I use for development, so each night it shuts down. Sometimes my allocation request fails when I attempt to restart it the following day. Is there a way to move a single instance VM from one cluster in the same region to another? This document doesn't have any advice on how to do that, and all I've found is guidance to move the VM using Azure Site Recovery, but that moves it to a different data center.

Thanks for the question. We are currently investigating and will update you shortly.
I also found that Azure Site Recovery doesn't work if the VM is fully deallocated, so it doesn't work in my scenario either.
@genlin Do you have any insights to share on this question?
@glimoli @genlin Do you have inputs on whether this is supported? Thanks :)
@Karishma-Tiwari-MSFT The redeploy option from the portal actually does that.
@Karishma-Tiwari-MSFT @glimoli , thank you. I submitted a PR to add the redeploy functionality as a suggestion.
Thank you for your contribution. The PR will be merged after review from the author.
