@stephbaron and @femsulu maybe somebody can look into it. No signal arrive on these alerts. I have test-organizations created for each supported region and created a health alert for a subscription that are connection to each of the orgs. The alert has never been triggered although the page https://status.dev.azure.com/_history clearly state service degradation over the last week already.

The alert was created last year!
So any hint if this really works?

The alert would only be triggered if a Service Health event were created for a particular incident. The DevOps team would have to answer that question (if an event were created for the degradation you've mentioned).

So that means, the product team developing the Service Health provides an API, that other product teams can make use to create an incident from their application?

That's exactly right, the Service Health platform (product) allows any Azure Service to create incidents, planned maintenance, and health advisory events and surface them to customers.
