Azure-docs: Matching the button to our own app style

Created on 29 Oct 2019  Â·  5Comments  Â·  Source: MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs

Hello,

Can you please provide guidelines for matching the button to our own app style?
Specifically in our app the Microsoft's button border and padding between text and logo makes our app's design look awkward and not uniform.
For example, Google branding guidelines provide rules for matching to your own app's style: https://developers.google.com/identity/branding-guidelines

@galgolan Thank you for the feedback. I assume you are speaking to Azure Web Application Services? If this is the case, can you please make the recommendation to the Service Area's Uservoice forum. This is where product feedback request are made.

Otherwise, if there is a specific document that discusses this specific topic, that will be helpful as well. Thank you!

@galgolan Thank you for this additional information. I am going to have the document team evaluate this and provide an update as appropriate.

Hello. Any update on this? I have the exact same question. We use a design that starts with the text "Sign in With:" and then several SSO/Login buttons with approved icon and title of the app for the various partners. Having a button just say "sign in" which is recommended by the Microsoft guidelines is redundant and unhelpful in this situation. The styling is also does not match our app. We need the shortened version of a button to reduce how much screen is taken up w/ SSO buttons (particularly important on mobile). Google has a reference to this exact situation, but I don't see any recommendation here. Our current solution is to have the text that says "Sign in With" above the button w/ the approved icon that reads "Microsoft". Is this acceptable?
