Azure-docs: Provide CLI version as an addition to powershell

Created on 29 Sep 2019  Â·  7Comments  Â·  Source: MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs

Microsoft so actively advertising CLI, especially for IoT services and AKS, that it's a bit surprisingly that for Digital Twins by default commans are on Powershell.

Could you add CLI version (az login+az ad sp show) to make a consistent experience across IoT specific services?

@SychevIgor Thanks for the question. We are investigating the issue and will update you shortly.

@SychevIgor Thanks for the great feedback I have assigned the issue to the content author so he can evaluate and update as appropriate.

@SychevIgor - I've gone ahead and updated the documentation with commands for both Azure CLI and Powershell. Thanks!

Hi @SychevIgor can you please confirm your feedback has been addressed.

@Alberto-Vega-MSFT I don't see the PR associated with this request. I guess @KingdomOfEnds will do it in azure-docs-pr repo and after merge private repo with public repo- we will see this PR.

Good Morning @SychevIgor - the documentation was updated and you should see the changes live: https://docs.microsoft.com/azure/digital-twins/security-create-manage-role-assignments. Please let me know if that addresses your concerns. Thanks!

Thank you. it's clear for me now.
