As stated here if custom metrics are successfully published to Azure Monitor then in general we can browse, query, and alert on custom metrics for your Azure resources and applications side by side with the standard metrics emitted by Azure. So AFAIK it would be possible in this case as well to build a metric view based on custom metrics.

Assigning to author @lazinnat for further review, to confirm on the same and for document enhancement considerations (i.e., considering to update document with a note if required).

@GeorgePlotnikov thank you for the question! Custom metrics were not supported by back-end, we are checking if it is now supported. We will update the documentation accordingly and get back to you once we have any updates.
