How do we access the new portal when running API Management in Internal vNet mode? Since the service endpoint <your-api-management-instance-name>.developer.azure-api.net is not registered anywhere, how can I route my traffic to it? Is there any path I can navigate to to end up in it? I'm using an Application Gateway in front of APIM.

Hi @StefanIvemo Thank you for your feedback! We will review and update as appropriate.
The best option would be if the new Developer Poral was added to the list of Endpoints when configuring custom domain names.
We face the exact same scenario and the solution suggested by @StefanIvemo would be the most viable option allowing a transition period internally.
@StefanIvemo For now I will proceed with closure of this and If there are further questions regarding this matter, please tag me in your reply.
@DixitArora-MSFT Is it being closed because it's not possible and treated as a feature request? @gs11 I've added a feature request to the feedback forum https://feedback.azure.com/forums/248703-api-management/suggestions/37934869-set-custom-domain-name-for-the-new-developer-porta
@StefanIvemo Sure. Internally also I will bring traction to this.
Right, there will be another endpoint to be whitelisted. We'll update the documentation accordingly in the near future.
Thanks for raising the issue, @StefanIvemo - as @azaslonov indicated, it's still work in progress.
For the time being, you can evaluate the new portal in a test instance outside of a VNET or try the self-hosted version of the portal.
Thank you for confirming that @azaslonov and @mikebudzynski! Will the endpoint be added during the time that the new portal is in Preview? Or will it be closer to GA?
Around 8 weeks to be on safe side.
We have also started looking into this, it seems that the ability to add a custom domain name for DeveloperPortal is available via Powershell command, however after adding it, the portal will throw an error message that "Developer portal has not been published yet." and the link from the APIM resource in Azure Portal does not match the new custom domain name despite the DeveloperPortal setting in Custom Host Names being correct. Willing to help with any logs or telemetry if you need.
