Azure-docs: InvalidTemplate at summary page (azure portal)

When I try to complete all the steps at the summary page in Azure the validation fails with the following message: InvalidTemplateDeployment template validation failed: 'The template parameter 'baseUrl' is not found. Please see https://aka.ms/arm-template/#parameters for usage details.'.

I just got confirmation that their is an issue deploying via the portal.

Current work around is deploy via GitHub template.

I requested an ETA on when a fix will be deployed but still waiting to hear back. Will continue to update.

The have a fix in the works so the portal issue should be resolved within a couple days.

Is there any update on a fix for this issue as I am trying to create a host pool in order to test the virtual desktop offering? I'm not familiar with git hub and would prefer to use the portal to create the host pool.

Hi @tadhgclifford if you click the link I mentioned before you will see a blue button at the end of the page called “deploy to Azure” if you click that button it will take you to Azure to deploy the solution. The same information is needed as the wizard which currently is broken.

@navinjk when looking at your error message it looks like the resourcegroup for the networking of the WVD does not exist. Maybe you made a typo somewhere?

Looks like the scripts RemoveScript.ps1 and Script.ps1 are not located where the baseUrl says they are. I found them in directory RDS-Templates\wvd-sh\Update an existing WVD host pool\Scripts.

Seeing this same issue when running get-rdshostpool from powershell. Also nothing populating on https://rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com/webclient/index.html
