Azure-docs: Link to nCore Key Hash needs to be updated

Created on 7 May 2019  Â·  5Comments  Â·  Source: MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs

For verification of the nCore Key Hash, the link currently points to the Thales website. As nCipher has now been separated from Thales, and this page is related to performing BYOK using nCipher products, the link should be repointed to the nCipher Security website.

The link required is: https://www.ncipher.com/products/key-management/cloud-microsoft-azure/validation

@MPenny-nCipher Thank you for reporting this. We will investigate and update as needed.

@MPenny-nCipher This article have multiple references for Thales and we believe would need to be reviewed thoroughly to update it once and for all . Please give us some time and we will have this internally reviewed and would update this thread.

@MPenny-nCipher I have updated the document with the correct links as suggested by you and with the correct description and updated the name of the product from Thales to nCipher. I just read on your website that nCipher is merging with Entrust . I just hope they don't change the product name again :) .

We will close this issue now . In case you have any further queries , feel free to tag me or the author @barclayn to your reply and we will engage with you on the same . Alternatively you can also email us on azcommunity [at] microsoft [dot] com and we will be happy to help .

Thank you. Does it take some time for the changes to be reflected? I still see "Thales" and the original link in the text when opening the web page?

@MPenny-nCipher My apologies for the delayed reply. Yes , Unfortunately it gets pushed every 24-48 hours depending upon the total number of changes in the complete repo . In general, its fairly fast and we can see changes within a few hours but sometimes due to reasons like large number of changes in the docs repo or caching at CDN levels , it may take time for getting updated for one as per one's geographic region . As of now this is updated and Thales does not show up here.

Thank you.
