Azure-docs: App registration portal is now deprecated

Created on 30 Apr 2019  Â·  4Comments  Â·  Source: MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs

This (and I presume other similar pages) instruct users to go to the https://apps.dev.microsoft.com/ which is now deprecated and no longer supported in 2 days (as of May). They should be directed to go to the new, modern App Registrations blade in the Azure portal.

I believe this should be re-opened. I'm aware the portal is deprecated, what I'm saying is the docs still direct users to it, which is incorrect

@stewartadam Thanks for your question. We are checking on this and will respond to you soon.

Hi @stewartadam,

Yes, the "https://apps.dev.microsoft.com/" portal will no longer support registering and managing Azure AD applications here starting May 2019. We recommend that you manage your existing applications and register new applications by using the App registrations from https://portal.azure.com.

We will now close this issue. Should you have any further queries, please tag me to your reply and we can gladly continue the conversation.

Thank you.

@MohitDhingra-MSFT ping.
Now that it's past May 1, the docs are directing users to a page that says:

We will no longer support registering and managing converged and Azure AD applications here starting May 2019.
