@arnrist Thank you for your feedback . We do have a request on the azure uservoice feedback forum and we would request you to vote for the same .

Vote for Updating Jira plugins

Additionally we would update the author as well for this request.

@jeevansd Could you please have a look at this request.

@arnrist We have recorded your request and informed the author . However this may take some time. At this point we have closed this request but the uservoice request is in the pipeline. We do not have a specific timeline to share for the same because there are a lot of requests which have a higher demand from customers however , we hope to get this looked into soon. We encourage you to use the uservoice feedback site to vote for this feature request.

Thank you.

@arnrist We are working on this and as soon as we update the plugin I will let you know here and then we can close this thread.

@chetansriv FYI.

My team hit the same issue last evening when upgrading to JIRA Server 8.02. Please update your integration piece so we can continue to utilize. As well as keeping up to date with Confluence integration.

+1 for Jira 8 support. And keep up to date with Service desk releases too.

@max-allan-surevine @scootafire @arnrist We are testing the plugin for JIRA 8.0 so soon we will update the plugin.
Also note that we have tested the plugin against the JIRA Service Desk 3.8.2 and 3.8.5 on Ubuntu 16.04 and on Windows. All these service desk versions are supported on the new plugin. So please download this and try again.

This is good news.

@jeevansd - I was wondering, did you also test the plugin against the JIRA Service Desk 4.0?
JIRA Service Desk 4.0 was released with Jira v.8.0. It would be appropriate to test the Jira Service Desk version that matches the highest supported Jira Software/Core version.

@arnrist Thanks for letting me know. I will park the ServiceDesk 4.0 in our testing queue once the JIRA 8.0 is complete then we can take this next.

Thanks.

How soon will the JIRA 8.0 be completed. Also how about the Confluence support for 6.15 for that pluin?

Does anyone know how to tweak the log-out timer for Jira AD Integration?

Currently users are being prompted numerous times per day and having to go through MFA constantly.

We want a login to last at least 8 hours before re-prompting.

@max-allan-surevine @scootafire @arnrist I have an update for you.
We have completed the development for the JIRA 8.0 and now testing it. Planning to take this out by next week.

is the JIRA 8,0 version ready for download?

@scootafire We are planning to release this by end of this week. Note that it will be entire new plugin.

Is this ready for download and installation on our JIRA yet?

@jeevansd Hi. It's now well past the end of previous week. When is the plugin available?

@pauska Yes, it is ready. Currently this is on it way to the Microsoft Download Center. If you need this early then please reach out to our team [email protected]

@arnrist @scootafire @max-allan-surevine @pauska Now we have published the new JIRA plugin version on the Microsoft Download Center. So please feel free to download it from there and then you can use it.
I will close this thread now. We will also update this doc to show the support for new JIRA 8.0 version in our plugin.

@jeevansd - I downloaded and installed the app now and it is not working.
Can see a error in the logs when trying to enable the app:
nested exception is java.lang.IllegalStateException: The bundle is uninstalled.

Tested on Jira 8.0.0
Tried re-installing the app.
Did you see any issues related to this under your testing?

UPDATE
After a restart of Jira the apps worked again (had issues updating other apps after installing the Azure AD SSO app).
But the Login with azure button is missing from the dashboard loging-gadget. It is only available from the login-page.
Before the update, it was available from the dashboard login gadget. Will this be solved?

@arnrist Please reach out to us on [email protected] and then we can investigate this issue with you.

The documentation still shows compatible upto 7.12. Atlassian has now released 8.2 version. Can you please confirm if the app works for 8 and above versions without any issues?

@jaswanthpadigala Yes, our plugin is been tested with version 8.0 so if you are using JIRA version 8.0 then it should work. We are in the process of testing the plugin for version 8.1 and 8.2.
Also to note that the document is still getting updated. Should be up to date by next week.

Hi Jeevan, looks like the app doesn't support the latest Jira version 8.3.1 yet though Jira shows the app is compatible in the admin console. The login button is not visible in the login page inspite of enabling the app and checking all the settings. Have you tested this and is there a plan to release a compatible version in the near future?

Hi @jeevansd Is there a plan to release a compatible version with jira 8.5.1 in the near future?

Hi @jeevansd
Does this add-on compatible with jira 8.2.6?
