OK, issue resolved. There are now Firewall settings applied automatically to new Cosmos DB accounts. Go to the Firewall settings and either add your IP or allow all connections.

Hi all - It seems that the regression relating to firewall setting on CosmosDB is now resolved. I've gone through the steps in this documentation and verified that everything is now working as expected.
