Azure-docs: LTSC 2019 images not supported

Created on 5 Jan 2019  Â·  7Comments  Â·  Source: MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs

The documentation says Azure Container Instances supports LTSC versions only, but it only supports the first LTSC version. The current LTSC version is 2019, and the service gives an error about the OS version not being supported when trying to use this image.

We don't support WS 2019 yet and now that it's the latest LTSC, the doc is no longer accurate.

@mani-ramaswamy: can you take care of updating it to call out that only the WS 2016 LTS is supported at the moment.
@jluk FYI.

@dlepow can we get this statement updated to reference WS 2016 specifically? When Mani's team gets 2019 supported or snapping to LTSC it can get reverted back.

@jluk - Yes, happy to update the article to reference WS2016.

@MicahMcKittrick-MSFT, please assign the issue to me and I'll submit a PR to resolve. Thanks!
