Azure-docs: Disabling RDP from the internet

Created on 11 Jul 2018  Â·  3Comments  Â·  Source: MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs

Is it possible to block the cluster's RDP ports from being access from the internet? Maybe limiting them to specific IP's. Are the ports necessary or can I disable them entirely? I have not been able to do so from the portal after I create the cluster and LB. I used one of the ARM templates and the instructions from this guide. Thanks!

Just checking if you figured out a way to disable this RDP.

@kaiyoshino you could use a Network Security group on the subnet of your Vnet your cluster is using to block traffic. Simply add a list of allowed IPs or a range of IPs and the rest will be blocked.

Okay. I will give this a shot. Thanks.
