Azure-docs: Add option for Bash in addition to PowerShell

Created on 30 May 2018  Â·  3Comments  Â·  Source: MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs

Can you please add a side by side option for creating certificates via Bash and not just PowerShell. you can use a good Microsoft document that already exist here, and just do the required changes/additions next to each PowerShell script-snippet in the existing doc.

In general, great documentation for certs, but this will help folks like me with Mac or Linux. Thanks in advance! Nir

While we're at it we should consider just pointing back to the repo that contains PowerShell and bash scripts, https://github.com/Azure/azure-iot-sdk-c/tree/master/tools/CACertificates. This way as we make bug fixes in the underlying scripts they're picked up free, instead of being duplicated. And the customer doesn't need to clone the whole repo but could just download the scripts in question.
