@spottedmahn We moved away from using the term Easy Auth a while back. As of right now, we simply call Authentication / Authorization as Authentication / Authorization. Some 3rd party docs might refer to authentication/authorization by the older term if they were written before this change.
Easy Auth and Authentication / Authorization are the same thing, it's just Easy Auth is the old term.
We will now proceed to close this thread. If there are further questions regarding this matter, please reopen it and we will gladly continue the discussion.

@spottedmahn Thanks for the feedback! I have assigned the issue to the content author to investigate further and update the document as appropriate.
@mattchenderson It appears there is some confusion as to what EasyAuth is. The feedback is that we should highlight that Authentication / Authorization was previously called EasyAuth. Can you please review the feedback and update the doc as necessary?

"EasyAuth" is not used in official capacities. We should not acknowledge it in the documentation.

Hi Product Group,
This site is still up and running
https://easyauth.azurewebsites.net/ which is very confusing.
I'm studying Identity now with AAD (SAML2.0 Protocol, WS-Federation and OAuth2/OIDC)
Is this (EasyAuth) something I can recommend to FTA clients/MSFT cx?
And how does this relate to OAUTH2.0/OIDC or the AAD endpoints for these protocols?
Is Easy Auth a deprecated term?
