@WilliamAntonRohm, I don't have an issue but a question regarding a new feature (i.e. Link work items to deployments). I know that we now can link a work item to a deployment done from a Release. I am just asking whether we can do the same thing from a deployment job (or any other job for that matter) within a multi-stage pipeline?

FYI I have older pipelines using Build + Release but I also have more recent multi-stage pipelines so I am just interested in knowing my options on this new feature.

@Thilas -- Currently this feature only works for the older pipelines but there are plans to add this feature to the multi-stage pipelines by end of this year.

@MartinaMS How come it was cut? Does this mean it will never be implemented? This really leaves me speechless.
Entering suggestions in the developer community is worthless, there are currently more than 8k feature suggestions in there so it will be lost in the noise, moreover that approach obviously doesn't work since out of the 5 the most voted requests just one has been completed, proving that our voice and our feature request are clearly pointless.

@MartinaMS The reason for cutting this might be useful. Should we prefer the UI for release pipelines? Is there another feature in progress that's going to be replacing it?

It was cut due to low engineering capacity so we had to be ruthless on cutting features. There isn't another feature in progress. Definitely give the feature suggestion some love, that's the best way to bring it back.

The above mentioned feature request was very lacking in requirements.

@deadlydog It's possible that creating multiple requests for the same thing with different wording will dilute the votes for both.
