How does the Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) - ap-east-1 state?

@snese Sorry for missing your comment. We can't comment on launch dates, but I've at least updated the list with Hong Kong and Bahrain.

Does this issue also represent cross regional routing or should I open up a new issue for that? Correct me if AppMesh already supports routing across regions.

@lewislabs This issue does not represent cross regional support, this is just the region build progress. We don't support cross regional routing yet and we don't have it on our road map yet.

Is this fully rolled out?

I'm trying to use the App Mesh Integration from eu-north-1 and it does not show up in the UI like it does in for example eu-central-1.

@naile Thanks for reporting this. I'll follow up with the team that operates the ECS console.

@naile The integration should be enabled in the next 1-2 weeks; they'll need to do a deployment.

In the meantime, you can define the envoy container for the task definition manually, using the resulting task definition from another region as a guide.

App Mesh is Generally Available in Africa (Cape Town) - af-south-1. ECS Console and CloudFormation support are yet to be done for this region.
