Did Aurora give you an Error Massage??

Which exact version are you running? What does your log file say? Are there any errors as @DarkNachtara has asked?

Had the same problem with clean and fresh install (v0.6.2) but starting Aurora.exe with Admin permissions let it started 'normally'

okay mine starts without UAC permissions...
did you check the security settings of your "Progamm Files (x86)" folder?

Like you said, I checked the permission of the folder in which Aurora is and managed security from there. Now it works without UAC.

Hope that the solution has solved your problem @ComradeNixco.
Sometimes Window itself, thinks it is a good idea to restrict the access to Aurora.exe by setting the folder-security to admin-only (UAC) (btw it is the default security-rule in Program Files and Program Files (x86)-folder ). By set the security-rules to everybody-access manully you can bypass the UAC-request and enjoy all functions of Aurora.

@FunkyFlame Have you tried what was mentioned above?

@ComradeNixco Is it working correctly for you now then?

@simon-wh it seems the solution for @ComradeNixco are working

Yes, @simon-wh, the problem in my case was that aurora didn't had enough permission because the install drive had it's permissions settings not what it should be

Thanks for getting back to me @ComradeNixco! @FunkyFlame have you tried what has been suggested here?

I think he is already gone...

@DarkNachtara Yeah, I'll close this as it seems to be all sorted
