Index.razor:
<MyComponent></MyComponent>
When I CTRL + mouse left click on the blazor component tag I expected to be taken to the component definition. ( Using Visual Studio 2019 16.4 )
Is this supposed to work?
Thank you for your feature request. We'll consider this feature during the next release planning period and update the status of this issue accordingly. To help us prioritize this feature correctly, please make sure you provide as much information as possible about the scenarios and their importance.
We've moved this issue to the Backlog milestone. This means that it is not going to happen for the coming release. We will reassess the backlog following the current release and consider this item at that time. However, keep in mind that there are many other high priority features with which it will be competing for resources.
@mkArtakMSFT this is a really needed and expected behavior, we really need this to make working in Blazor a comfortable day to day experiene, please add it soon ❤ I'm using latest VS 2019 preview and it's still not present

Totally agree, constantly clicking on components this way and wondering why it's not working :)))
@mkArtakMSFT @NTaylorMullen : Using VS 2019 16.8.0 Preview 2.0 + Experimental Razor Editor it now works to press F12 on a component to be taken to the implementation of it. Thus it seems only few bits are missing to also include the desired ctrl + mouse click feature. Any plans to go for it anytime soon?

Ya surprisingly this is actually something CoreVS needs to implement to light this up for us. That being said they do have an internal issue (sorry it's internal!) tracking the work. Unfortunately given their current workload it's unexpected to land in the near future.
