Aria2: Request: support multithreading

Hi,

We are hitting a performance wall with aria2c and HTTPS processing for a single core. Would it be possible to run aria2c over multiple cores, sharing download threads between them? Has this been implemented yet, and if not, are there any plans for this in the future? Our issues with performance happen mostly on lower end hardware like NAS devices.
