Arcore-android-sdk: [FR] Augmented Hand in addition to Augmented Face

Created on 12 Mar 2019  路  5Comments  路  Source: google-ar/arcore-android-sdk

It was a years since #82 the arcore SDK was developed and now it has augmented face feature. With the same process I think it should be possible to add augmented hand and let us developer can access the data of a hand skeleton. So we could use it as an input, or project the object on the hand, or augment the hand with our custom hand model

It would be very useful for AR app that people could use hand to interact with what they see in AR app directly

Look into Manomotion. If Manomotion can be integrated into ARCore it would be amazing!!

I've already done so. Unfortunately they only select candiates to use their HAND SKELETON API.
Their regular SDK is great tho, but I won't provide the skeleton information.

It does also support ARCore, but only through Unity.

is there any possibilities for full body tracking in arcore????
