Created on 5 Sep 2018  Â·  7Comments  Â·  Source: google-ar/arcore-android-sdk

Please I am a teacher and not in to tech so much .
We have to buy 60 budget phones for our young students to teach them in AR apps and technology .
I found a Arcore list whit ready phones but after reading differnt comments and got confused.

Is the Xiaomi A2 lite Arcore ready ?
Could I instal for example Google expedition and run the AR mode on it .?
Could I root boot the phone and make it arcore ready .

My students would bee very happy if some expert of this mather could guide us .
I would even pay for your service if you have the knolage how to costomize the phone to our needs
Best regards

Thank you for your answear .
I am not an expert on this field .
The only question is does the phone have Amy possebility to just RUN AR in
Google expeditions +?
Or do I only have to have the phones on the list that you sent to me .

A LOT of kids are depending on the question !111

Still i think your answear were a litteratur bit short and coooold ? Why ?

Would be really nice to know why Xiaomi Mi A2 is not supported, or at least why?

They are not supported (Both A2 and A2 lite) because Xiaomi has DECIDED to not support them. End of story.

I'm a Xiaomi A2 owner and I've been waiting for too long for this. Together with the Pie update DEBACLE, once the phone dies, I'll get away from Xiaomi as fast as I can.

Nokia 7 plus has been supported since almost a year and the hardware is essentially the same. Nokia has its own software and hardware oddities and bugs too, but at least they take their customers seriously.

Xiaomi, I'm deeply disappointed.
