Arc-theme: Inconsistant mouse hover on Gnome shell 3.24's new weather information in date/time dropdown

I'm using Gnome 3.24 which added a new weather indicator in the date/time dropdown, below the calendar view. It seems to be following the adwaita colors/theme

This is also an issue on the light theme, which then even has barely readable text for the weather. Also the notifications are barely readable in the light theme.
