Arc-theme: Arc Dark is messing with the Google.com search input bar on Firefox

I have the Arc Dark theme installed on Ubuntu and it seems to be causing Google's search bar to display as gray for a few seconds, then it goes to white.

Let me explain the process:

1. I search for something via Google in Firefox
2. The page begins to load, this is when the search bar appears gray (see image)
3. After the page finishes loading, it goes to white.

I'm not sure if this is a Firefox issue, an Ubuntu issue, or an issue with the Arc Dark theme.
Any help would be appreciated.

Not only Google search box in Firefox. All html controls are changed.

I just fresh install Arc Dark last night.

Sadly Firefox support for GTK+ 3 is not polished.
It works for the Google search bar because Google explicitly defines CSS rules for it, but it appears dark for the first time because the browser needs some moments to apply the CSS to it.

The example @gluons posted is related to the fact that the sites applies no CSS styles for the controls, so Firefox uses the system default style.

Install "Text Contrast for Dark Themes" add-on
Alternatively Google "Firefox - GTK Dark Theme Fix" (and use that css code with Stylish add-on)

firefox doesnt play nice with dark themes....i would highly suggest you to use light themes on firefox....u could try the new inbuilt compact light (and maybe even try compact dark) theme

It's a Firefox bug, please search through the closed issues.

I'm using Text Contrast for Dark Themes now. Temporary help until Mozilla solve this.

Text Contrast for Dark Themes doesn't help with the Google search bar thing.

This does appear to simply be an issue on Firefox with most dark system themes. I'm currently using the FT DeepDark Firefox theme along with my firefox startup script set to use the Arc Darker GTK theme.
