Appcenter: User profiles not able to download application builds in appcenter

Created on 21 May 2019  路  7Comments  路  Source: microsoft/appcenter

What App Center service does this affect?
Appcenter android apk distribution not working for certain users

Describe the bug
Currently there are certain users in our organization that cannot download any android apks that are distributed through app center. They can see the application buckets when they log in, but when they click to see the versions of the apk, app center throws an error and says there are no releases available. Our current workaround is to go to the legacy hockeyapp website and download apks manually from there through a mobile browser and install them that way

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to app center apk or appcenter website
  2. Click on an application to install
  3. Receive an error message that there are no releases for this application, even though builds have been there for at least 3 years, and it is continually updated

Expected behavior
Expect the ability to continue to download and install android apks through appcenter with profiles that have not changed.

We are having this issue with iOS builds as well. This is happening for all of our users that are NOT collaborators. Because this is iOS, we have no valid workaround.
