The problem seems to be "EasyList Germany" (under Regions, Languages). Aside from that, I have all the uBlock lists (aside from "Experimental") activated, plus Anti-Adblock Warning Removal, Anti-Adblock Killer and EasyList. The only entry under "My Filters" is

Okay, after resetting my uBO back to factory defaults, it suddenly works using
@@||sueddeutsche.de^$generichide
I made a backup of my settings before and after, and aside from the selected lists, not much seems to have changed. "vivaldi-scheme" seems to have been added to "netWhitelist", whatever that means.

For some reason, I had to deactivate the german filter to make it work. To make it less understandable I received a message "german filter was activated automatically" and the adblock came up again. I had to uncheck the option to activate the most appropriate filter to keep the german filter deactivated and now the adblocker is not being detected

tested in 2 browsers, 2 adblockers. all fine for me.

if you are using other blocking extensions: disable them (ghostery, disconnect, other..)

Doesn't work for me, even after a reset, unless I deactivate cosmetic filtering on sueddeutsche.de. Without cosmetic filtering, it works (it's a bit ugly but at least no advertising, right?) cc/ @tinloaf
