App version: 1.5.2.0 (from Google Play)
Android version: 6.0.1 (Stock unrooted)
Devide model: Nexus 6
Expected behaviour: Request refresh all feeds --> notification appears indicating synchronization status: downloading podcast data, processing downloads, complete --> notification disappears
Current behaviour: Request refresh all feeds --> notification appears indicating synchronization status: downloading podcast data, processing downloads --> notification does not progress past "Downloading podcast data: processing downloads", i.e. remains there indefinitely
First occured: Version 1.5.1.4 (maybe??? either 1.5.1.4 or 1.5.2.0)
Steps to reproduce:
Environment: Nothing unusual. Happens regardless of devices connected, etc. Of note, gpodder.net sync has not worked for me at all. However, logging out of gpodder.net/disabling does not resolve the problem.
Stacktrace/Logcat: Nada. Sorry :/
Can you check Downloads > Log?
My best guess: One of the feeds is messed up and throws a parser exception. (This should already be fixed, but is not yet released)
Ah thank you for reminding me about the log section of Downloads. I refreshed all my feeds 2x just now. No error messages came up for either time, but the notification still persists (as one can see from the notification bar).

Can you export your subscriptions and send the OPML file to Martin.Fietz at gmail.com ?
Not enough information to debug this issue.
I have this problem too. Will email my opml file
I have this problem, too.
I'd suggest another (maybe simpler?) solution: Don't show this notification at all. I don't see why this information is important. If there was an error, an error message should be displayed of course, but if all goes well, I don't need to know. What do you think?
+1 Also have this problem
Is there any possibility to hide it in general?
If you have Android 8 and the (not yet released) new version of AntennaPod, you can disable the notification
Hi @ByteHamster, sounds awesome. Where can I find the setting in AntennaPod after the release?
Android 8 allows to hide notifications directly from system settings, based on categories. We just added categories to AntennaPod ;)
Ah, okay. I know the dialogue to remove _every_ notification and didn't know that there's also the possibility to remove them by category. Nice addition. :+1:
And thank you for answering!
